The Law Olympiad, India’s first ever Online Law Olympiad, is brought together by Law Information Center. The Law Olympiad seeks to impart legal knowledge amongst law students and provide a platform for students to test their legal skills while excelling to win prizes. It is supported by the Supreme Court Bar Association.
The Law Olympiad will be made available on November 10, 2019 (Sunday) between 9 am to 3 pm. The duration of the Law Olympiad will be 1.5 hours and the Participants can choose their slot accordingly from the aforesaid time schedule.
All actively enrolled Law College Students will be able to participate in the Law Olympiad.
Registrations will open on October 15, 2021 (Friday) and will close on November 15, 2021 (Monday).
Yes! All students that register for the Law Olympiad Examination will receive a mini test to prepare for the Law Olympiad Examination and receive a ‘Participation Certificate’ after participating in the Law Olympiad Examination.
The following prize will be awarded to those who secure the first, second or third position in the Law Olympiad
- First Prize –INR 1,00,000
- Second Prize –INR 50,000
- Third Prize – INR 25,000
If there are more than one candidates getting same number of marks than those who get less negative numbers will be entitled to the prize
If there is tie even on the negative marks than the prize will be equally shared by the candidates
The candidates will be invited to New Delhi and receive the award from one of the dignitaries on Constitutional Day function held by Supreme Court Bar Association on November 26, 2021 (Friday). The dignitaries present on Law Day Function are the Chief Justice of India, Minister of Law and Justice, Attorney General and President of India, Vice President and Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
